Meet the Doctors

Dr. Alan A. Brustein received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Long Island University in 1980. He then went on to receive a Doctor of chiropractic degree from New York chiropractic College in 1984. Dr. Brustein practiced for approximately 12 years in Great Neck, New York before moving to Boca Raton, Florida in 1995. In 1996 he combined his love for fitness and exercise by opening an office inside of a gym. When the gym closed in 2018 he relocated the practice across the street. Dr. Brustein's office mission is to provide quality health care and design personalized programs to treat the needs of each individual. His office team of highly trained professionals focus on helping people achieve and maintain their optimal health and wellness goals. Some of the office services are chiropractic, physiotherapy, massage therapy, exercise therapy and acupuncture. The office treats many people in Boca Raton and neighboring cities ranging from Pompano, Deerfield, Delray and Boynton Beach.

The office regularly refers and receives referrals from many doctors offices which of which include orthopedists, neurologists, psychologists/psychiatrists, internists, pediatricians, and primary health care physicians. Dr. Brustein is very involved in his community where he lives with his wife Cristy and his three sons Skylar, Jaime and Colby. He strongly believes in giving back to his community by volunteering his time with children with special needs and Autism. He is an active member of the downtown Boca Raton health and wellness Rotary Club.

His office participates in many local health fairs and wellness lectures. Having a son with Autism and ulcerative colitis/Crohn’s has helped him to understand that kindness, patience and truly caring is the key to helping people.

Dr. Braun has been in practice for 33 years, having done his undergraduate studies through Adelphi University, NY, and graduate studies at the Southern California University of Health Sciences, (formerly, the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic). Since that time, he has received additional training and certification in forensic and industrial medicine while maintaining a practice in California, obtaining Qualified Medical Examiner, (“QME”), status as of 1990. Additionally, drawing on his background as an NSCA Certified Personal Trainer and former bodybuilder, he applies his knowledge of functional anatomy and kinematics to rehabilitation
programs, tailored to a diversity of orthopedic conditions. He has remained in private practice in California from 1987 through his cross-licensure to Boca Raton, Florida, (where he and his family now reside), while also maintaining licensure in New York.
