STAY FIT WHILE YOU SIT

Heavy lifters aren’t the only ones who suffer from a hard day’s work; millions of others are victims of aches and pains caused by the stress of sitting improperly for too long.

 

The goal of this presentation is to help people who sit on the job reduce the strain put on their bodies and thus increase their productivity.   

 

You will learn how to minimize the causes of physical stress on the body due to poor posture and improper utilization of the work area through:

·       Creating an “ergonomically correct” workstation

·       Sitting up straight and using your back rest

·       Using proper techniques to avoid carpal tunnel

·       Reducing glare and eyestrain

·       Stretching your neck and back throughout the day
